Rules

1. The object of the Erie’s Choice Readers Poll is to select the public’s favorite businesses, shopping, entertainment venues and eating and drinking places in the region by popular vote. It is not a scientific survey.

2. To make your selections enter online at www.erieschoice.com.

3. The ballots will be published only on www.erieschoice.com beginning June 9, 2008. One entry per person will be tabulated. We do NOT accept paper entries.

4. The Erie Times-News will award the following prizes through random drawing of all COMPLETELY FILLED OUT BALLOTS. To qualify for the drawing each person must completely fill out the online ballot at www.erieschoice.com. Prizes are: First $500, Second $250, Third $125.

5. All entries must be received at the Erie Times-News and GoErie.com by Thursday, July 3 at 5:00 p.m. Merely posting entries by that date is not sufficient.

6. The Erie Times-News and GoErie.com are not responsible for lost or stolen entries, or entries not received due to technology failure.

7. You may vote only once. Obvious and suspect attempts at ballot stuffing will be disqualified .

8. Winners will be announced on Sunday, July 20, 2008 in Erie Times-News and on GoErie.com.

9. Readers Poll is open to all readers in the Erie Times-News circulation area. Employees of the Times Publishing Company and their immediate family members are ineligible to win.

10. Entry in the Erie’s Choice Readers Poll acknowledges permission to photograph winners and publish their names in the Erie Times-News, EriesChoice.com and on www.GoErie.com.
